Italian music will take centre stage at Every Body in Motion – Inclusive Theater and Performing Arts Festival, taking place in Hanoi from 20 to 25 October 2026. Organised by the EUNIC Cluster in Vietnam, with Goethe-Institut Hanoi as the lead institution and with the support of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival, Every Body in Motion brings together Vietnamese and international artists from Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and the Republic of Korea, with and without disabilities, through a series of initiatives dedicated to inclusive theatre and the performing arts.
Italy will be represented by mezzo-soprano Valentina Volpe Andreazza and pianist Francesco Morettini. Trained at the Conservatory of Padua and the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, Valentina Volpe Andreazza brings opera beyond traditional theatre venues, performing in nursing homes, hospitals and Italy’s first Alzheimer’s village. Her work reflects a conviction she has championed for many years: everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has a story to tell and a desire to be heard. On 1 June 2026, she performed the Italian national anthem from the balcony of Pordenone City Hall, accompanied by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Orchestra. The performance was broadcast on Rai 1 as part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic. On 4 October 2026, she performed alongside Francesco Morettini in San Gemini, Umbria, in the concert Nacque al mondo un sole – Musiche e canti nel segno di San Francesco (A Sun Was Born into the World – Music and Songs in the Spirit of Saint Francis), as part of the events marking the 800th anniversary of the Saint’s death.
