The Italian Embassy in Hanoi is among the participants of the 23rd edition of the European Film Festival, scheduled from November 14 to 27, 2024 at the National Cinema Center (87 Lang Ha, Ba Dinh, Hanoi).
The film “There’s Still Tomorrow” by the Italian director and actress Paola Cortellesi will be screened on Wednesday, November 27 at 8PM.
Free tickets for this and other films can be collected starting from Tuesday, November 5 at one of these two locations:
- EU Delegation to Vietnam (24th floor, West Wing, Lotte Center – 54 Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh, Hanoi)
Opening hours: 9AM – 12:30PM; 1:30PM – 5:30PM (Monday–Friday);
- Goethe-Institut Hanoi (56-58-60 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi)
Opening hours: 8:30AM – 12PM; 1PM – 6PM (Monday–Friday).
Due to high demand, we advise interested people to collect tickets (maximum 4 per person) as soon as possible. No pre-registration is required.

“There’s Still Tomorrow” by Paola Cortellesi
Synopsis
Amidst the joys and sorrows of post-war Rome, Delia attempts to maintain a semblance of normal life, despite mental and physical abuses from her husband, hoping that this sacrifice will help her eldest Marcella marry into a middle-class family. But they soon realise that this arranged marriage is unlikely to bring Marcella happiness. Meanwhile, Delia receives a letter that gives her hope, and makes her dream of a better future.
