In order to promote international cooperation in academic and cultural fields, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation offers grants to cover travel and accommodation expenses for Italian or foreign researchers, professors, experts, cultural personalities, and cultural operators who are formally invited by Italian or foreign academic and cultural institutions for study or research purposes.
The grant is intended for Italian or foreign individuals residing in Italy for at least two years who have been formally invited abroad by foreign academic or cultural institutions, and for Italian or foreign individuals residing abroad who have been formally invited to Italy by Italian academic or cultural institutions.
The grant consists of a daily lump sum of €350 per day for stays of up to 5 days, and €250 per day from the sixth to the tenth day, up to a maximum of €3,000 per beneficiary. Grants will not be awarded for stays exceeding ten days.
Interested applicants are invited to submit their application by following the instructions provided in the form attached to this communication by July 31, 2025. The grant is only applicable to missions that have taken place or will take place between January 1 and November 15, 2025.
