Citizens registered with AIRE for at least 6 months can renew their driving license at the Consular Office counters. Before coming to the Embassy, nationals should obtain a medical certificate for the renewal of the Italian license. The national, equipped with the expired license, their passport, and the medical certificate, can visit the Embassy and get the driving document renewed upon payment of consular fees, which will be indicated in advance by contacting the office via email at consolare.hanoi@esteri.it.
Please note that the Consular Office cannot issue attestations concerning Italian driving licenses.
