X WEEK OF ITALIAN CUISINE IN VIETNAM

The Embassy of Italy in Hanoi is delighted to present the 10^th Week of Italian Cuisine in Vietnam.

Launched in 2016 by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World is a global annual initiative that celebrates the excellence of Italian gastronomy, its deep cultural roots, and its contribution to international dialogue on food, health, and sustainability. The theme of this year’s edition, “Italian Cooking: health, culture and innovation”, reflects the ever-evolving identity of Italian culinary tradition, where creativity and technology coexist with a millennia-old culture of well-being and conviviality. The 2025 program also draws inspiration from Italy’s nomination of its cuisine for inclusion in UNESCO’s List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity – a recognition that celebrates the Italian way of transforming simple, high-quality ingredients into culture, identity, and shared pleasure.

In this perspective, the initiatives organized in Hanoi evoke some of the most recognizable symbols of Italian tradition: flour and bread, wine, and the ritual of the aperitivo – timeless expressions of a culture that combines tradition, health, and the social pleasure of being together. At the same time, they highlight how innovation and research are shaping the future of food, while preserving the values of quality and sustainability that define Italian cuisine.

The program of the 10^th Week of Italian Cuisine in Hanoi will include:

• “From Wheat to the Oven: The Art of Italian Breadmaking – A Masterclass in Tradition and Innovation”, a masterclass dedicated to Italian bread-making and the science of balanced nutrition, organized in collaboration with Molino Casillo and Pegasus International School
  Location: Pegasus International School, Hanoi – 17 – 18 November 2025
• “Italian Touch. The Art of Aperitivo”, a unique evening dedicated to the Italian culture of aperitivo, celebrating the art of taste and conviviality, organized in collaboration with Campari
  Location: Apricot Hotel, Hanoi – 21 November 2025
• “Casa Italia Wine Festival 2025”, an Italian wine tasting festival organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM)
  Location: Casa Italia (18 Le Phung Hieu, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi) – 22 November 2025 from 10:00AM to 10:00PM
