On Friday 22 February at Casa Italia the 2019 edition of “Sentiero diVino” was launched, an initiative of integrated promotion in the wine sector promoted by the Italian Embassy in Hanoi with the sponsorship of Viet-It Wines and Caffe’ Italia.
The event will unfold over 9 tastings distributed throughout the year, each one dedicated to the wines of a specific Italian region. Each tasting is accompanied by the screening of a film subtitled in English or by the presentation of a book related to the wines offered.
The events take place at Casa Italia, the center of Italian economic-cultural promotion in Hanoi, located opposite the Embassy, in the center of Hanoi’s French Quarter.
Representatives of the Italian community, personalities from the local economic-business and cultural world, Vietnamese interlocutors from the Embassy and members of the Diplomatic Corps are invited.
The first event featured Sicily, with the wines of Pellegrino Winery and the screening of “The vanishing of Patò”, a 2010 film by Rocco Mortelliti based on a novel by Andrea Camilleri.
The second one, scheduled for the end of March, will be dedicated to Veneto with prosecco wine.
