The Embassy of Italy in Hanoi is glad to present the scientific workshop “Synthetic Aperture Radar technologies and applications. Synergies between Viet Nam and Italy”.
Organized in collaboration with the Vietnam National Space Center (VNSC) of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and the Italian Technological Cluster on Aerospace, the workshop is part of the Vietnam – Italy scientific and technological cooperation and takes place within the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The initiative aims to stimulate an in-depth discussion on the potential applications of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) technologies, with particular reference to crucial fields such as climate change monitoring, water resources and data collection for precision agriculture. The workshop will gather experts from both Vietnam and Italy as well as representatives of Italian aerospace companies (Leonardo, e-GEOS, Thales Alenia Space Italia).
The workshop will be held at Casa Italia (18 Le Phung Hieu, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi) on Tuesday 6 June 2023 at 14:00 (Hanoi time). Livestream of the event will be available via Zoom platform at https://us06web.zoom.us/j/81101863456
