The Embassy of Italy in Hanoi is pleased to present the Week of Italian Cuisine in Vietnam (14-20 November 2022) under the theme “Conviviality, sustainability and innovation: the ingredients of the Italian cuisine for people’s health and the safeguard of the planet”.
A number of events will take place in Hanoi to promote the healthiness and authenticity of Italian culinary culture and the excellence of Made in Italy agri-food.
The program will be presented on Monday 14 at a press conference & dinner hosted by the Ambassador of Italy Antonio Alessandro with the participation of chef Mr. Marco Squizzato from the Federazione Italiana Cuochi (Federation of Italian Chefs).
The program includes:
– Opening dinner at La Fiorentina Restaurant & Gastronomics, with Chef Squizzato who will prepare a special menu expressing the healthiness of Mediterranean Diet.

– Coffee Culture event and scientific workshop “Italy meets Vietnam”, in collaboration with Segafredo Boncafe’ Vietnam, the World Coffee Museum of Buon Ma Thuot and the International Centre of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Trieste
Location: Casa Italia, 18 Le Phung Hieu, Hanoi – 16 November at 14:30.
– Gelato Festival, in collaboration with Platform Communications & Culture, showcasing the tradition of Italian artisanal ice cream
Location: Casa Italia – 17-18 November at 10:00.
– Casa Italia Wine Festival, a two days Italian wine tasting event in collaboration with some of the most important wine distributors in Vietnam
Location: Casa Italia – 19-20 November at 15:00.
– Italian Cuisine Week Expo of Italian products, in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency
Location: MM Mega Market, 263 Pham Van Dong, Hanoi – 2 December at 15:00.
– A Taste of Valpolicella Wines contest & masterclass, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and Consorzio per la Tutela dei Vini Valpolicella
Location: Casa Italia – 5 December at 09:30.
– A Taste of Italy expo of Italian products, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and some of the major distributors and food&beverage operators
Location: AEON Mall Shopping Centre, 27 Co Linh Road, Hanoi – 9-11 December at 10:00
During the Week, selected Italian restaurants in Vietnam will also present a “Special Menu” combining tradition, sustainability and innovation.
