Workshop on “Climate Change Adaptation Using Digital Geospatial Twins and Earth Observation”

On October 9th, the Embassy of Italy in Hanoi hosted at Casa Italia the presentation workshop of the Erasmus+ project “Climate Change Adaptation Using Digital Geospatial Twins and Earth Observation” (CADEO).

Coordinated by Polytechnic University of Milan and Lunds Universiteit, the project aims to foster participation of Vietnamese students in university courses that aim to promote the use of technological and digital innovations in order to monitor, prevent and cope with the risks arising from ongoing climate change.

As part of the workshop, the two Universities presented the courses included in the academic program of CADEO and co-hosted a presentation of the four Vietnamese universities involved in the project: Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, Hue University, Vietnamese-German University, Phenikaa University. The project sees also the involvement of the JV VidAGIS, a company specialized in satellite data management technologies.
