The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met yesterday in Brussels with the Vietnamese Prime Minister, Phạm Minh Chính, in the margins of the EU-ASEAN Commemorative Summit.
The two Heads of Government expressed satisfaction for the development of bilateral relations and agreed to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas of trade, energy transition, culture and defence. They also stressed the importance of the relationship between the European Union and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), especially in the current global context.
