“On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Vietnam, I would like to send you my greetings and most sincere wishes.
The strong bonds of friendship that unite us, formalized on March 23, 1973, have made possible an extraordinary intensification of our relations.
Thanks to the historic signing of the agreement for the establishment of the strategic partnership in 2013, the number of sectors in which our countries collaborate in a concrete and mutually beneficial manner has been significantly expanded.
The considerable results achieved in recent years on the bilateral and multilateral stage, accompanied by numerous visits at every level, lead us to pursue this path with conviction and to set new, ambitious goals that will help us to win together the great global challenges the international community nowadays is confronted with, such as climate change and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
We are convinced that our collaboration is a precious enrichment for both peoples, encouraging a desired and crucial approach.
