The Embassy of Italy in Hanoi is pleased to inform that the SIMEST Representative Office for Vietnam (Saigon Tower, 29 Le Duan, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) has been operational since July 29, 2024.
Founded in 1990, SIMEST is the State-owned company of “Cassa Depositi e Prestiti-CDP” Group supporting the growth of Italian companies in foreign markets through a variety of mechanisms: subsidized financing for internationalization, export credits and equity instruments.
The opening of Ho Chi Minh City Office is part of the company’s new Strategic Plan and aims to provide assistance to Italian companies operating in Vietnam and seize market opportunities in high-potential sectors for Made in Italy manufacturing.
SIMEST Office will reinforce the network of institutions supporting Italian companies in Vietnam, that brings together the Embassy, the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City, the Italian Trade Agency Office for Vietnam and the SACE Desk in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.
