PRESS RELEASE \u2013 ITALIAN FILM FESTIVAL 2020<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The Italian Embassy in Hanoi is delighted to present the \u201cITALIAN FILM FESTIVAL 2020\u201d<\/strong>, to be held at the National Cinema Center of Hanoi<\/strong> (87 L\u00e1ng H\u1ea1, Ba \u0110\u00ecnh) from the 13th to the 17th of November<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Festival aims at offering to the Vietnamese public a glimpse on contemporary Italian cinema. It will feature 5 movies dealing with some of the most relevant themes in today\u2019s Italian society, such as immigration, urban living conditions, family relationships and resilience in the face of difficulties.<\/p>\n The movies displayed in the Festival represent a distinctive trend in modern Italian cinema, where characters are portrayed with humanity and compassion, along with a touch of irony and sympathy, as we see them struggling to overcome difficulties in the pursuit of their personal happiness. Their inspiring stories invite the audience to look at contemporary societies from a different perspective and will eventually help us better understand the complexity of the times we are living.<\/p>\n Movies will be screened at the National Cinema Center as follows:<\/p>\n MAGARI<\/strong> \u2013 IF ONLY<\/strong> by Ginevra Elkann: 13th November<\/p>\n SOLE<\/strong> by Carlo Sironi: 14th November<\/p>\n BANGLA<\/strong> by Phaim Bhuiyan: 15th November<\/p>\n QUAFFER<\/strong> by Antonio Farisi: 16th November<\/p>\n DAFNE<\/strong> by Federico Bondi: 17th November<\/p>\n All screenings start at 8:00 PM at Room n. 2 (2nd floor). On the opening night, the event will begin at 7:30 PM.<\/p>\n
