The Embassy of Italy in Hanoi is pleased to present the Week of Italian Cuisine in Vietnam (14-20 November 2022)<\/strong> under the theme \u201cConviviality, sustainability and innovation: the ingredients of the Italian cuisine for people’s health and the safeguard of the planet\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

A number of events will take place in Hanoi to promote the healthiness and authenticity of Italian culinary culture and the excellence of Made in Italy agri-food.<\/p>\n

The program will be presented on Monday 14 at a press conference & dinner<\/strong> hosted by the Ambassador of Italy Antonio Alessandro with the participation of chef Mr. Marco Squizzato from the Federazione Italiana Cuochi (Federation of Italian Chefs).<\/p>\n

The program includes:<\/p>\n

– Opening dinner<\/strong> at La Fiorentina Restaurant & Gastronomics, with Chef Squizzato who will prepare a special menu expressing the healthiness of Mediterranean Diet.<\/p>\n

Location<\/em>: La Fiorentina Restaurant & Gastronomics, 20 Dang Thai Mai, Hanoi – 15 November at 19:00.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Coffee Culture<\/strong> event and scientific workshop \u201cItaly meets Vietnam\u201d,<\/em> in collaboration with Segafredo Boncafe\u2019 Vietnam, the World Coffee Museum of Buon Ma Thuot and the International Centre of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Trieste<\/p>\n

Location<\/em>: Casa Italia, 18 Le Phung Hieu, Hanoi – 16 November at 14:30<\/span>.<\/p>\n

– Gelato Festival<\/strong>, in collaboration with Platform Communications & Culture, showcasing the tradition of Italian artisanal ice cream<\/p>\n

Location<\/em>: Casa Italia \u2013 17-18 November at 10:00.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Casa Italia Wine Festival<\/strong>, a two days Italian wine tasting event in collaboration with some of the most important wine distributors in Vietnam<\/p>\n

Location:<\/em> Casa Italia – 19-20 November at 15:00.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Italian Cuisine Week Expo<\/strong> of Italian products, in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency<\/p>\n

Location<\/em>: MM Mega Market, 263 Pham Van Dong, Hanoi – 2 December at 15:00.<\/span><\/p>\n

– A Taste of Valpolicella Wines<\/strong> contest & masterclass, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and Consorzio per la Tutela dei Vini Valpolicella<\/p>\n

Location<\/em>: Casa Italia \u2013 5 December at 09:30.<\/span><\/p>\n

– A Taste of Italy<\/strong> expo of Italian products, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and some of the major distributors and food&beverage operators<\/p>\n

Location:<\/em> AEON Mall Shopping Centre, 27 Co Linh Road, Hanoi \u2013 9-11 December at 10:00<\/span><\/p>\n

During the Week, selected Italian restaurants in Vietnam will also present a \u201cSpecial Menu\u201d<\/strong> combining tradition, sustainability and innovation.<\/p>\n
