The World Youth Orchestra Foundation and the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies launched a Call for Projects to foster creativity and innovation among Vietnamese artists. Applications must be sent by August 10th, 5pm (<\/strong>Ha Noi time GMT +7). <\/em><\/p>\n

The World Youth Orchestra Foundation<\/strong> and the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies<\/strong> launched a Call for Projects<\/strong> to foster creativity and innovation among young Vietnamese artists, encouraging them to push the boundaries of traditional and contemporary artistic expressions. The call is part of the “Sounds of Brotherhood” project <\/strong>that is taking place in 2024 in Vietnam, with the support of Fondazione CDP<\/strong> \u2013 the foundation of the Italian National Promotional Institution Cassa Depositi e Prestiti – and the contribution of Temix <\/strong>and LCA Studio Legale<\/strong>, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy <\/strong>in Hanoi, the Consulate General of Italy<\/strong> in Ho Chi Minh City, and some important Vietnamese and international partners.<\/p>\n

Vietnamese artists from different disciplines can apply. Winning projects will be financed through a grant, thanks to the support of the Fondazione CDP<\/strong>. Any Vietnamese resident in Vietnam who is over 18 years old is eligible to participate. Disciplines include music, theatre and visual arts<\/strong>. Artists are allowed to apply to only one of three strands: A, devoted to completed projects; B, dedicated to emerging young talents; C, conceived for initiatives that are still in progress. Applying as a student is also possible, since no experience is required.<\/p>\n

Each strand will be awarded a grant of \u20ac1,300, for a total amount of \u20ac3,900 covering three prizes, and might also have two winners. In that case, the prize will be split among the awardees.<\/p>\n

All participants are requested to fill out the form available on the VICAS website at the following link http:\/\/vicas.org.vn\/pages\/detail\/5628\/KEU-GOI-THAM-GIA-DU-AN-AM-THANH-TINH-ANH-EM-KHAM-PHA-CAC-TAI-NANG-LOI-MOI-NOP-DU-AN-DANH-CHO-CAC-NG.html<\/a>\u00a0 and send it to vicasartstudio@gmail.com<\/a> by August 10th, 5pm<\/strong> (Ha Noi time GMT +7). A jury formed by the World Youth Orchestra Foundation\u2019s<\/strong> members and the Board of the Vietnamese National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies <\/strong>will evaluate all the applications, taking into consideration originality, feasibility, and artistic merit. The awarding ceremony will be held by mid-September 2024.<\/p>\n

After the successes achieved since 2001 in all the artistic and musical activities developed nationally and internationally, the World Youth Orchestra Foundation (WYO)<\/strong> continues its commitment to spreading the ideals of peace and dialogue between peoples through art and music with the \u201cSounds of Brotherhood\u201d <\/strong>project, scheduled for this year in Vietnam.<\/p>\n
