Casa Italia<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> (18, Le Phung Hieu, Hanoi<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>) hosts the exhibition \u201cStories about villages\u201d,<\/B> by the Vietnamese artist Ta Thi Thanh Tam. <\/I><\/B>The exhibition <\/I><\/B>is organized by the Embassy of Italy, in the framework of \u201cY-VIET 2013: Year of Italy<\/st1:country-region> in Vietnam<\/st1:country-region><\/st1:place>\u201d.
<\/I><\/B><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/P>

Ta Thi Thanh Tam, born in Hanoi<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> and graduated at the Hanoi University of Fine Arts, is a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association. Her works were shown in several countries in the world with Group and Solo exhibitions. Among these, she joined in 2006 the Vietnamese Cultural Festival in Italy<\/st1:country-region><\/st1:place>, \u201cThe Dragon and the Butterfly\u201d.

The simple and basic, though modern technique of the artist, have roots in the old engraving and wood sculpture. Her works, painted on paper and lacquer, portray in a colorful way figures and traditions of the Vietnamese villages: dances, processions, rural and interiors scenes.<\/FONT><\/SPAN>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/I><\/FONT><\/P>
