Italy presented to the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) the candidature of Rome to host the EXPO 2030<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The theme of the candidature is “People and territories:\u00a0regeneration, inclusion and innovation”<\/em><\/strong>. For its history, heritage, creativity, its links with culture and science, Rome\u00a0represents the ideal place to launch a new urban model based on both innovation and sustainability, digital services and green spaces.<\/p>\n

Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Maria Tripodi,\u00a0visited Hanoi from 10 to 13 February 2023<\/strong> in the framework of the 50th\u00a0anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Vietnam to promote Rome’s candidacy.<\/p>\n

On March 3, 2022 the Mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri presented\u00a0in Dubai the official logo<\/strong> of the candidature of Rome to host EXPO 2030.<\/p>\n

For the first time in the history of EXPO, the logo is also a “Non-Fungible Token”, a unique piece of digital art based on blockchain technology.<\/p>\n
