The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) has established three awards for Italian and foreign researchers and innovators who have distinguished themselves in promoting science and technology within the framework of international cooperation.<\/p>\n
The Embassy of Italy in Hanoi and the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City invite you to submit applications for the following awards.<\/p>\n
Farnesina Award \u2013 Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award<\/strong><\/p>\n Awarded on an alternating basis to senior and junior Italian researchers who have distinguished themselves abroad through outstanding scientific achievements. The 2026 call for applications is open to junior researchers under the age of 40. The winner will be granted a three-month residency, to be completed within 12 months of selection, at an Italian research institution selected by CoPER (Council of Presidents of Public Research Bodies) and aligned with their specific field of research. Additionally, the winner will be invited to present their research at the Conference of Scientific, Space Attach\u00e9s and Agricultural Experts in Reggio Calabria in November and will receive a diploma and a commemorative plaque.<\/p>\n Click here<\/a><\/u> to read the call.<\/p>\n \u201cInnovation that Speaks Italian<\/em>\u201d Award<\/strong><\/p>\n It recognizes the high innovative value of technology startups founded by Italian citizens and operating abroad. The winner will be invited to showcase their research and innovation in the start-up segment of the Conference of Scientific and Space Attach\u00e9s and Agricultural Experts, to be held in Reggio Calabria in November; the winner will also receive a certificate and a commemorative plaque.<\/p>\n Click here<\/a> to read the call.<\/p>\n \u201cScience, She Says!<\/em>\u201d Award<\/strong><\/p>\n The award aims to recognize the contribution of young foreign researchers under the age of 40 to the progress of science and technology. The Prize will be awarded to five female researchers, one for each of the following geographical areas: Africa and the Middle East; Asia and the Pacific; Europe; Central and South America and the Caribbean; North America. The candidate must be under 40 years old on September 15, 2026. The winners will receive a diploma and a commemorative plaque.<\/p>\n
