“Fare Cinema” 2022 (13-19 June)

From 13 to 19 June 2022, the fifth edition of “Fare Cinema”, the initiative dedicated to the Italian cinema abroad promoted by the Farnesina in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, ANICA, ICE Agency, Istituto Luce-Cinecittà, Italian Film Commissions and Accademia del Cinema Italiano-Premi David di Donatello, takes place also in Vietnam.

TRIBUTE TO VITTORIO GASSMAN

In collaboration with Fondazione Cinema per Roma, screening of the documentary “Sono Gassman! Vittorio re della commedia”, written and directed by Fabrizio Corallo to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Vittorio Gassman.

ITALIAN RENAISSANCE: A WINDOW ON ITALIAN CONTEMPORARY CINEMA

In collaboration with Fondazione Cinema per Roma, selection of five short-movies by five directors representing the new trends of Italian cinema: “Il mio dovere di sposa” di Claudio Giovannesi, “Sugarlove” di Laura Luchetti, “Tiger Boy” di Gabriele Mainetti, “Esca Viva” di Susanna Nicchiarelli e “Oggi gira così” di Sydney Sibilia.

ITALIAN SCREENS

In collaboration with l’Accademia del Cinema Italiano and ANICA, screening of the five finalists in the “Best Short Film” category of the David di Donatello Awards 2022: “Maestrale” by Nico Bonomòlo, “Pilgrims” by Farnoosh Samadi e Ali Asgari, “L’ultimo spegne la luce” by Tommaso Santambrogio, “Notte romana” by Valerio Ferrara and “Diorama” by Camilla Caré.
