The XII Conference of Italian Ambassadors was held from July 24 to 27, between Rome and Milan. It is an important opportunity to assess the activities of the Italian diplomatic & consular network in the world and to calibrate future strategies in several fields, with a particular focus – this year – on security and growth issues.
The event, chaired by the Italian Minister for Foreign Affairs and Italian International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, was attended by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, the President of the Italian Council of Ministers, Paolo Gentiloni, the Foreign Ministers of France, Le Drian, and Spain, Dastis, as well as other representatives of the Italian government, entrepreneurship and civil society.
